It is recommended that you do not postpone the final phase of surface cleaning of excess product with Nitro thinner. Any excess of product on the surface not removed, in contact with the air, may cause the formation of unwanted whitish residues, difficult to remove, that may be in any case removed using a further washing with acid detergent.
Before any cleaning operation with acid detergent, it is still essential to carry out preliminary tests on a small portion of the flooring (better if not exposed), to avoid unpleasant chromatic alterations of the flooring itself.
In the case of application of Protech Balcony on surfaces which are particularly porous and absorbent (terracotta, natural stone, tufa, etc.), it is advisable to first spread the product on a small portion of the flooring.
